1. Read the Label Information

2. Avoid Bleach
Chlorine-based bleach damages PU and TPU membranes. If disinfection is necessary, use oxygen-based bleaches; if the product label permits, washing at 90°C also provides much safer disinfection than chlorine.
3. Say Goodbye to Fabric Softener
Fabric softener coats the loops of the terry fabric, reducing its absorbency. Instead, add a cup of white vinegar to the final rinse: it acts as a natural softener and preserves absorbency.
4. Don't Overfill the Machine
Mattress protectors become heavy during washing as they retain water. Filling the washing machine more than half its capacity reduces cleaning effectiveness and can damage the machine's motor and the protector's seams.
5. Low Heat for Drying
